There are basically 2 kinds of Solar Panels. One kind makes electricity the other makes hot water. The current focus is on affordable and competitive PV systems (solar electric panels) but Solar Thermal (hot water panels) are also an option.

The current focus of work is installing PV on properties within 15 miles of Stroud as this enables the quotes to be most competitive and can achieve an 8 Year payback on 21p tariff
